Bear Spotted In Apple Valley
APPLE VALLEY (WCCO) -- Bear sightings in one metro community have police busy.
On Wednesday night, police in Apple Valley got calls from three people who said they saw a black bear wandering around.
Authorities think that it could be this same bear that was spotted in Empire Township on May 7. The homeowner was able to capture a photo of a bear near a bird feeder.
The bear is believed to weigh about 150 pounds.
