BCA Issues Missing Persons Alert For Woodbury Teen
WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (WCCO) -- White Bear Lake police are looking for a Woodbury teen who has been missing since Thursday afternoon.
Kyle Christopher Konkler, 18, left work at the White Bear Lake Police Department and never returned home. Police are concerned for his safety.
"Kyle has been a worker for our police department," White Bear Lake Police Chief Lynn Banks said. "He got a little upset yesterday afternoon and walked out and we haven't seen or heard from him since."
Konkler is on the autism spectrum, but is considered to be a high-functioning young adult. He may believe that he is in trouble, but police and his family are only concerned with his safe return.
Banks described Konkler as a "smooth talker" who may convince strangers to help him, as he has no money and is without a cell phone.
Konkler is 6 feet tall, weighs 215 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a navy blue t-shirt with a "WBLFP Supporters" logo. However, police were informed by a tipster on Friday afternoon that he is now likely wearing a plain white t-shirt, a black leather jacket, grey and black Nike tennis shoes and carrying a Minnesota Twins draw-string backpack.
The tipster also noted that Konkler may have had a haircut since his disappearance.
