Back To Work For Minnesota Lawmakers
ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- A special session is expected to get underway at the Minnesota State Capitol Sunday.
Lawmakers are expected to deal with disaster relief after last June's storms.
The state must come up with 4 point 5 million dollars in order to match federal relief dollars.
DFL Representative Joe Atkins says he only wants to deal with the one issue
"The last thing I want is to see us in session year round," Atkins said. "I'm a citizen legislator. I've got a real business of my own. I think most people prefer to have folks that have a real life."
There have been four special sessions called for disaster relief since 2007.
