Bachmann Ranked Among 'Most Beautiful' On Capitol Hill
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WCCO) -- Lately, Rep. Michele Bachmann has been immersed in controversy over comments she made about the Muslim brotherhood "infiltrating" the top levels of government.
But a D.C. blog may bring a silver lining to Bachmann's month. The Hill just ranked her among the ten most beautiful people on Capitol Hill.
The blog cited Bachmann's transformation from a self-described "bottom-feeder when it comes to clothes shopping" to hiring makeup artist Tamara Robertson for her 2012 presidential bid appearances.
The blog also took note of her French manicured nails and her "sleeker, trendier" new hairdo.
Bachmann is the highest-ranking member of the U.S. Congress on The Hill's list. Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire was cited among the runners up to the top 10, as was Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut.
The Hill's list isn't limited to senators and representatives. In fact, their number one ranker is a name probably unfamiliar to nearly everyone who isn't working on Capitol Hill. They selected 25-year-old House Administration Committee staff assistant (and former model) Max Engling as their top choice.
Another high-ranking non-politician hails from Wisconsin. Twenty-five-year-old Samantha Dezur, the Education Finance Council's vice president of communications, ranked eighth. She originally hails from Oshkosh, Wis.
