Babysitter Accused Of Sexual Contact With Teen
STILLWATER, Minn. (WCCO) -- A Cottage Grove, Minn. woman has been charged with having sex with a teenage boy she used to babysit.
According to the criminal complaint, Desiree Cruz was 26 years old when she allegedly began a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.
Cruz had been the victim's personal care assistant when the victim was younger, and would frequently babysit the victim and his siblings leading up to the alleged relationship.
The complaint says that the victim's mother started to suspect things after her son was always indicating that he was giving Cruz backrubs. The word, the complaint says, was their code word for having sexual contact.
Cruz is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct for the relationship that allegedly spanned two years.
