Baby Struck By Mother In Car Dies
STILLWATER, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police say a baby that was accidentally struck by its mother in a Stillwater parking lot last week has died.
The 1-year-old was struck late last week in the parking lot of Stillwater Medical Group on Curve Crest Boulevard.
The mother was with her two children and put one of them in the car seat, got in the car and started driving, striking the other child who was still in a stroller in the lot.
The child was taken to the Regions Hospital in critical condition, and reportedly died Monday night.
Police are performing standard fatal accident procedures, but reiterated that it appears to have been a tragic accident.
