Autopsy: Person Found In Burning Van Was A Man
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – An autopsy performed Monday revealed that the victim found inside a burning van over the weekend was an adult male, the Rice County Sheriff's Office said.
However, no other information is available as identification and toxicity tests are still pending.
Authorities began an investigation Sunday morning after the victim was found. Rice County deputies and the Faribault Fire Department were sent to a vehicle fire on 150th Street West and Acorn Trail, which is in rural Rice County.
The Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner's Office performed the autopsy.
The Rice County Sheriff's Office and the State Fire Marshall's Office are still investigating.
