Authorities Seek Suspect After Driver Nearly Hit By Bullets
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Moorhead authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a man suspected of shooting at a driver and nearly striking him.
On Sunday morning at around 9:30 a.m., Moorhead Police were contacted by a victim reporting to have been shot at. The north Moorhead resident said his vehicle was damaged by gunfire when he was attempting to drive away from a man that he knew.
The victim said he was traveling southbound toward the Law Enforcement Center on the 1100 block of 9th Street when his SUV was struck by bullets that nearly hit him.
Now, police are attempting to locate Juan Francisco Martinez, 25, of Ada, Minn., who is pictured above.
Anyone with information is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency and avoid confrontation as he is considered armed and dangerous.
The incident is under investigation.
