No Students Injured After Teen Crashes Into School Bus

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 16-year-old driver was injured after rear-ending a school bus Monday afternoon near New Prague, Minn., according to authorities.
A Scott County official said the crash happened around 2:58 p.m. near the intersection of 260th Street and Red Wing Avenue. The crash was described as a rear-end collision involving a car and a school bus.
Scott County Sheriff's deputies say the 16-year-old girl said she never saw the bus. They say there are no indications that she ever hit the brakes. She was taken to a local hospital with head injuries.
There were 30 kids on the bus at the time of the crash. None of the kids were injured.
The scene is now clear but an investigation into the crash continues.
