Authorities Looking For Suspect In Cologne Bank Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said Friday they're looking for a female suspect after a bank was robbed west of the Twin Cities on Thursday.
The robbery happened at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Klein Bank on the 200 block of Paul Avenue in Cologne. Authorities said a white female presented a bank teller with a note demoing money. She did not brandish any weapons, but implied she had a gun.
Police said the teller put an undisclosed amount of money on the counter, the suspect took it and fled the scene. Nobody was injured during the incident.
Authorities said the suspect is described as a white woman about 5 feet, 8 inches tall in her early to mid-20s. She was wearing a black head scarf, a loose black blouse and loose black slacks. She was also wearing black framed sunglasses with gold trim at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with information about the incident or who can identify the woman is asked to call the Carver County Sheriff's Office at (952) 361-1212.
