Authorities ID Victim In Brooklyn Park Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say a 24-year-old St. Paul man was shot and killed after an altercation at a party in Brooklyn Park early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the 10000 block of Georgia Avenue North at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, and when they arrived they found a man dead inside the home. He has been identified as Chue Yeng Xiong, and authorities said he died of a gunshot wound to the head. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Police said there were several people at the home for a party when the incident took place.
Authorities said five people have been arrested in connection with the incident, which is still under investigation.
