Authorities ID Man Shot, Killed In Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified a man who was shot and killed in a Minneapolis alley early Sunday morning.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 23-year-old Naim Bashir Jama of Ohio.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at about 4:38 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of 13th Avenue South in Minneapolis. When they arrived, they found Jama in the alley with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died at about 5:04 p.m. Sunday. No arrests have been made in the incident, and police are asking for the public's help in the case. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call (612) 692-8477.
