Authorities: Fire Burns South Minneapolis Basement
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A fire blazed in the basement of a three-story home in south Minneapolis Saturday evening, authorities said.
Crews responded to the fire after receiving a call at 7:49 p.m. that reported smoke in the basement of a home on the 3000 block of 46th Avenue South.
Everyone in the house got out safely and Xcel Energy shut off the power to the house, authorities said.
