Authorities Bust Synthetic Marijuana Operation In Rogers
ROGERS, Minn. (WCCO) – A 27-year-old Plymouth man was arrested Tuesday as a result of a narcotics investigation in Rogers, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities executed a search warrant at the Piecemakers store on the 21000 block of South Diamond Lake Road in Rogers. What they found were 400 containers that were suspected to be synthetic marijuana. The sheriff's office arrested a 27-year-old man who was a cashier at the store on probable cause of narcotics.
The case is part of an ongoing investigation and the man was booked into the Hennepin County Jail, where he is awaiting criminal charges.
A state law passed earlier this year makes it illegal to sell synthetic drugs, including synthetic marijuana, plus analog drugs that have chemicals similar to those banned.
