Weiner Resigns; Tafoya To Interview Breitbart
NEW YORK (WCCO) -- New York Rep. Anthony Weiner's sexting scandal has cost him his job. The seven-term Democrat announced he was stepping down today.
Tune in at 5:35 p.m. Thursday to hear Michele Tafoya's interview with conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart. He's in town for the fourth annual RightOnline Conference Friday and Saturday at the Minneapolis Hilton
Last month, a lewd photo of Weiner appeared on his Twitter account. He first said his account was hacked. But after more pictures and allegations were made, Weiner admitted he had inappropriate conversations with at least six women online.
Weiner said he will get treatment, but he's not saying where he'll go to get help. His wife, Huma Abedin, is pregnant right now with the couple's first child. She was not with him for the announcement.
