20-Year-Old Man Dead In Broadside Crash Near Hastings
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 20-year-old man is dead after broadside crash in Dakota County Thursday afternoon.
Johnathan M. Byrne, of Prescott, Wis., died at the scene of the crash.
According to the accident report, Byrne lost control of his Mitsubishi on the wet road while traveling west bound on highway 10.
The car spun out into traffic going the other way and was hit by a Peterbuilt truck, driven by 59-year-old John Cauchy.
Cauchy did not appear to be injured. Neither of the drivers had passengers.
The state patrol shut down the roadway near Highway 61 after the crash.
