Arboretum Fundraiser Highlights MN Food, Wines
CHANHASSEN, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen is taking reservations for what it's billing as the best outdoor party of the summer.
Toast and Taste in the Gardens is set for the evening of Thursday, July 28. Twenty-five top independent restaurants in the Twin Cities and surrounding area will serve up tastes of in-season, fresh, local cuisine. Minnesota and regional wineries and breweries also will be pouring samples.
Reservations are required. The cost is $75 for general admission from 7 to 9 p.m., and $125 for patron-level early admission at 6 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the gardens and programs at the Arboretum, which is part of the University of Minnesota.
