Anoka County's 'Jane Doe' Identified
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman who police say refused to give fingerprints or identify herself has been identified, according to a criminal complaint.
The woman was found hiding inside a closet of somebody else's home in Fridley, holding scissors and a cell phone. She has been identified as 24-year-old Tammy Antoinette Thomas.
The way in which she was identified is not clear and the information has not been released.
The arrest happened Monday after the new owners of a home on 98 Rice Creek Way in Fridley returned from their July 4 vacation and couldn't get in.
The owners called police.
When officers went into the home and found the woman in the closet, they say she refused to come out.
When officers tried to book her into jail, she refused to cooperate, not letting officers fingerprint her or take her mug shot.
They were able to get one photo of her face while she was sleeping in her cell.
