Amy Klobuchar wins Democratic nomination for US Senate in 2024 Minnesota primary
WASHINGTON — Amy Klobuchar is the winner of the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in the 2024 Minnesota primary election Tuesday.
Klobuchar, who will be looking for her fourth term as a U.S. senator, faced four challengers, but none raised campaign money, according to the Federal Elections Commission. Klobuchar has raised about $19 million.
Meanwhile, conservative populist and former NBA player Royce White defeated Navy veteran Joe Fraser in Minnesota's primary election for the Republican nomination to challenge Klobuchar in November.
