Alcohol May Have Been Factor In Fatal Elko Crash
ELKO, Minn. (AP) — State troopers say alcohol may have been a factor in a rollover crash that killed an 18-year-old woman near Elko over the weekend.
Jordan Reigh Huver of Prior Lake died of head injuries sustained in a crash that happened Saturday about 3:30 a.m.
The State Patrol says the driver was a 29-year-old Lakeville man. He was hurt but his injury isn't considered life-threatening. Another 26-year-old passenger was also injured.
Troopers say alcohol was detected on the driver and two passengers but it wasn't immediately known whether that contributed to the rollover. The roads were also wet at the time.
