Agassi, Chang, Courier, McEnroe Coming To Minn.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Four touring former tennis stars are coming to Target Center this fall.
Andre Agassi, Michael Chang, Jim Courier and John McEnroe are scheduled to take part in a four-player, three-match event in Minneapolis on Friday, Sept. 30.
The 2011 Champions Series made the announcement on Tuesday.
The 12-city tour of one-night mini-tournaments in selected U.S. arenas lasts from Sept. 22-Oct. 22. The four players will be paired off in one-set semifinal matches, and the winners will meet immediately after in an eight-game pro-set match.
The Champions Series has a $1 million prize pool, and rankings will be kept throughout the tour.
