After cold Saturday, temperatures expected to rise
MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota and most of the country will be above average for the holidays this coming week.
After a bitterly cold Saturday, temperatures will go into the mid to upper 30s on Sunday. With the exception of some small chance of precipitation on Monday, it will remain mostly dry and cloudy in the Twin Cities area through the holidays.
After the holidays, temperatures could climb to the 40s.
Saturday marks the winter solstice and the day with the least amount of sunlight.
