Advisory Committee Address New St. Paul Soccer Stadium
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – An advisory committee comprised of two dozen civil leaders will meet Thursday to discuss the site of St. Paul's new soccer stadium.
The nearly 35-acre site is north of Interstate 94 near Snelling and University Avenues.
The Pioneer Press reports that the committee's recommendations on issues like jobs, traffic and green space will be incorporated into the city's master plan.
City planners are already discussing new residential and commercial buildings around the stadium.
Thursday's meeting is from 4 to 6 p.m. at the former American Bank Building on University Avenue.
It is open to the public.
