Adrian Peterson Plans To Play On Sunday Vs. Saints
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Adrian Peterson says he plans to play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
The Minnesota Vikings star running back practiced on a limited basis Thursday. But he says his sprained left ankle is feeling much better and he expects to play for the first time in a month. Peterson has missed the last three games with the high ankle sprain.
Peterson says he feels about 85 percent healthy right now, but he is determined to rejoin his teammates and help them to an elusive victory. The Vikings are 2-11 and need two wins in their last three games to avoid the worst record in franchise history.
Peterson joked that he has been getting pressured by fans on Twitter who want him back to help their fantasy football teams.
