Adrian Peterson Hits Wheaties Boxes This Week
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) Adrian Peterson is coming to a breakfast table near you.
The Vikings running back is appearing on three limited-edition Wheaties boxes, one of which is released this week.
According to Wheaties marketing manager Jim Wilson, A.P. is a natural fit for their product.
"Adrian embodies the heart of a champion whether he's scoring touchdowns or giving back to his community," Wilson said.
Peterson says he's honored to appear on the iconic cereal box.
"I never thought that as a kid that I would actually be on the same box that once had my childhood heroes on it," Peterson said. "I am blessed and fortunate to have such an incredible honor."
The first Adrian Peterson Wheaties box is now available in stores.
