Peterson Earns 'NFC Offensive Player Of The Week'
EDEN PRAIRIE (WCCO) -- Adrian Peterson earned his fifth NFC Offensive Player of the Week honor for his performance against the Arizona Cardinals Sunday.
Peterson's three touchdown, 122-yard performance gave him his 26th career 100-yard rushing game. His three touchdowns also matched an NFL record for rushing touchdowns in a quarter.
In rushing, Peterson leads the NFC and is second in the NFL through five weeks with 498 yards rushing. He is tied for the NFL lead with six rushing touchdowns.
