9/11 Observance Planned At Minnesota State Capitol
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks will be marked at the Minnesota State Capitol.
The Minnesota Council of Churches is bringing together political leaders including Gov. Mark Dayton, religious leaders, law enforcement officials, veterans and the public for a memorial event called Minnesotans Standing Together.
It will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, on the Capitol Mall.
The observance will focus on remembering the losses, paying tribute to those who have served the nation and fostering cooperation for the common good.
