911 Lines Back Up After Brief Statewide Outage
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Several Minnesota counties say their emergency lines are back up and running after a brief outage Wednesday afternoon.
The outage appeared to affect 911 landline calls across the state for about an hour. The issue is under investigation.
911 outages that impacted several counties throughout the state have been resolved. The 911 service provider for the state of Minnesota is still investigating what caused the outage. Text-to-911 service is also restored.
