830 WCCO's John Williams Returns To The Twin Cities
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- 830 WCCO-AM is announcing that afternoon host John Williams is moving back to the Twin Cities.
Williams has been doing his afternoon drive show on WCCO from the studios of WGN-AM in Chicago since April 2010. This is John's second stint at WCCO. Before moving to Chicago, John was a midday host on WCCO from 1993-1997.
"John has been a wonderful part of the repositioning of Minnesota's hometown radio station, WCCO. We look forward to having him in our hallways and contributing even more to our community," said WCCO Radio Senior Vice President/Market Manager, Mick Anselmo.
"My family and I have been anxious to make Minnesota our home again. I've had a dual personality for 2 1/2 years, and I want to focus on doing the best possible radio I can at WCCO," said Williams.
John's first day broadcasting out of the WCCO-AM studios will be January 2, 2013.
