79-Year-Old Killed In Scooter Vs. SUV Crash
BRAINERD, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 79-year-old Brainerd man was killed after the scooter he was driving was involved in a collision with an SUV on Wednesday afternoon.
The State Patrol says that James Strowbridge was driving south on Highway 371 and trying to make a turn onto Greenwood Street at about 5:15 p.m.
Strowbridge was hit by a Mazda Tribute that was headed north on 371.
Strowbridge was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was not injured in the crash.
The State Patrol was investigating the crash. It was not immediately clear who was at fault.
