6 Adults, 5 Children Displaced After Fire In South St. Paul
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say six adults and five children are displaced after a house fire in South St. Paul overnight.
Fire crews were called to the 700 block of 7th Avenue in South St. Paul at about 3 a.m. When authorities arrived, they saw that a single family home had a fire that apparently started in a bedroom. Everyone got out of the home safely and no firefighters were hurt fighting the blaze.
Three dogs were also rescued from the house and were not harmed.
Authorities said the house suffered fire, water and smoke damage. It was put out in about 10 minutes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The American Red Cross is assisting the victims in the fire.
