$5K Reward Offered For Information On Plymouth Playground Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A reward has been offered for information leading to the person, or persons, involved in a fire at a Plymouth playground earlier this year.
The Minnesota Arson Reward Project is offering $5,000 for any information regarding the fire at Plymouth Creek Park.
According to Plymouth city officials, the suspected arson took place on Friday, Aug. 15 around 2:20 a.m. at 3625 Fernbrook Lane.
Brand new playground equipment valued at $81,000 was destroyed and is included in the overall damage amount.
The new equipment for Plymouth's largest park was set to be installed the next morning. Now, it's expected to take a least a month to replace the equipment.
No one was injured in the fire.
