5 Arrested In Brooklyn Center Prostitution Sting
BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (WCCO) -- Brooklyn Center Police arrested five people on related prostitution charges at a Motel 6 Thursday night during a sting operation.
Four women and one man were arrested between 6 and 10 p.m. at the Motel 6 located on the 2700 block of Freeway Boulevard, according to Cmdr. Tim Gannon of the Brooklyn Center Police Department.
The man was arrested for promoting prostitution and unrelated charges.
Police set up the sting in the motel rooms after the Motel 6 staff told police that prostitution was a problem there.
Police brought in representatives from Breaking Free, an organization that helps women out of the prostitution lifestyle, Gannon said.
