45 Years For Fatal Shooting Of Ex-Girlfriend
WALKER, Minn. (AP) — A northern Minnesota man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend.
Twenty-two-year-old Kandace Dunn, of Cass Lake, was shot in the head last June while her two young children were in the bedroom they shared.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ross Littlewolf, the father of one of the children, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree assault with a firearm in Cass County.
Littlewolf threatened to kill two other adults in the house, then told them to take care of the children.
