4 Your Pets: Bring The Kids & Fido To The Pet Expo!
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis Convention Center will be overflowing with four-legged fun this Saturday.
The 2015 Minnesota Pet Expo is an opportunity for pet lovers and their loved ones (human and non-human) to enjoy events like agility competitions, pet talent and costume contests, wiener dog and wiener-dog-wannabe races and even musical chairs!
But the dogs don't steal all the glory. There are also bunny agility demos, miniature horses, iguanas, snakes and events featuring the internet's favorite animal – the cat!
There are also prizes for people and pets alike, discounts on vaccinations and microchipping and plenty of adoption opportunities.
One of the major things that make this event so much fun is the inclusion of your own pets -- but make sure they are up to date on these vaccinations and can handle the noise and the hustle and bustle. Pet owners also must sign this release before going inside.
And if you are bringing little ones who may not have much experience being around doggies, make sure you prep them on the dos and don'ts of pet interaction.
