MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- From the latest on the Minnesota Session 2015 to POTUS joining Twitter, here are the four stories to know for Tuesday, May 19.
Minnesota Session
A busy end of session leaves lots of work to do at the State Capitol.
Governor Mark Dayton tells WCCO he will veto the budget. That would mean a special session.
The education bill does not include his No. 1 priority funding for 1/2 day preschool for 4 year olds.
The Republican-led House raced to beat the midnight deadline, after fighting over a jobs bill with DFLers, who say they didn't get to read it.
Dylan On Letterman
Minnesota-born Bob Dylan will be David Letterman's last musical guest Tuesday night. He hasn't appeared on the show in two decades.
Dylan will join the episode with Bill Murray.
Letterman's final show is Wednesday and will include quote "plenty of surprises."
Stephen Colbert will take over as host on Sept. 8.
POTUS Joins Twitter
President Obama is on Twitter.
Using his new @POTUS handle, the President declared "Hello, Twitter! It's Barack. Really! Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account."
Former President Bill Clinton welcomed him and then asked if the POTUS username stays with the office, saying he was quote "asking for a friend."
Wolves-Lynx Garage Sale
If you love basketball and a garage sale, you'll be in heaven Tuesday.
The Timberwolves and Lynx are moving to a new training center in Mayo Clinic Square. That means 5,000 pieces of apparel, collectibles and framed art will go on sale.
Money from the sale will benefit the team's foundations.
It kicked off at 7 a.m. at the Target Center inner concourse.
