MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- From a lengthy closure of Highway 169 in Edina to a former Subway spokesman expected to plead guilty to child porn charges, here are the four stories to know for Wednesday, Aug. 19.
After a summer of frustrating road closures, MnDOT announces part of Highway 169 in Edina will be closed for up to a year.
The agency will give information from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
The only good news: the closure won't take place until the fall of 2016 when current construction projects on Highway 100 and Interstate 494 are completed.
Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is expected to plead guilty to child pornography charges.
Our CBS affiliate in Indianapolis has confirmed that Fogle will accept a plea deal.
Federal agents raided Fogle's home in Indiana last month, seizing computers and DVDs. Earlier this year, the former director of the Jared Foundation was arrested in a child pornography case.
Subway has issued a statement, saying it has already ended its relationship with Fogle.
