4 Things To Do For Halloween Weekend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – From haunted theme parks in Shakopee to haunted basements in northeast Minneapolis, here is a look at four ways to celebrate Halloween in the Twin Cities.
Soap Factory's Haunted Basement
Head to the Soap Factory for a spine chilling experience.
Now in its 10th year, the haunted basements theme focuses on a twisted view of real life horrors. It will show you what life is like for a typical tortured soul. A new attraction this year is a special solo experience that guarantees creepy one-on-one encounters as well.
The Haunted Basement is open from 6 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $27.
Valleyfair celebrates its last weekend of the year.
Activities at Valleyscare include the Scarecrow Hollow, Peanuts Spooktacular Halloween Party, trick-or-treating and more for the kids. Halloween Haunt for the adults is at 7 p.m.
Valleyscare in Shakopee is open from 11 a.m. until midnight.
Tickets start at $29.99.
While in the southeastern part of the Twin Cities, visit Scream Town!
Named the No. 4 haunted house in the U.S., it has eight massive attractions including the all new Phobia House, the Circus Asylum and Oak Blood Forest.
It is open Saturday from 6:30 to 11 p.m.
Tickets cost $40 for regular admission at the door, or $50 for Fast Pass.
Finally, it's the largest Halloween event in the Midwest.
Trail of Terror features the frightening Howling Pines woods walk. Or check out Hotel 666 with 25 spine tingling rooms.
Patrons can play beat the clock in the "Escape Room," or Zombie Paintball.
Trail of Terror is open from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tickets start at $24.95.
