4 Arrested From 3 States In S.D. Drug Bust
WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) -- Police in the South Dakota city of Watertown say four people from three states face charges after a big drug bust.
Sgt. Tim Toomey tells The Public Opinion newspaper that men from Omaha, Neb, and Grand Forks, N.D., and a woman from Hallock, Minn., were arrested late Wednesday outside the local Wal-Mart. He says authorities seized a large amount of Oxycontin, drug paraphernalia and $1,400 in cash.
The drug bust involved local police and state crime agents from South Dakota and Minnesota.
