NB 35W reopens in Lino Lakes hours after tanker truck overturns
LINO LAKES, Minn. — An overturned tanker truck closed down northbound Interstate 35W for nearly seven hours on Friday in Lino Lakes.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened at about 3:48 a.m. between County Road 23 and Interstate 35E.
Crews were called in to pull the truck out of a ditch with a crane. At least one person was hurt but the extent of their injuries is unclear.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says no fuel was spilled. The northbound lanes re-opened just before 11 a.m.
The state patrol says it's investigating and expects to release more information later on Friday.
