33 People Displaced After A Water Main Break In Woodbury
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Thirty-three people are without a home Sunday morning after a water main break overnight at an apartment complex in Woodbury.
It happened in the 300 block of Lake View Drive sometime before 1 a.m.
A dispatch supervisor with the Washington County Sheriff's Office said they began getting calls from residents about the water main break early Sunday.
The fire department responded and discovered major flooding in the apartment complex.
The American Red Cross was called around 12:55 a.m. to respond. They are offering its help to the displaced residents, which includes 15 children.
No word yet on the cause of the break.
