$30M Upgrade For Hazelden Creates More Privacy For Patients
PLYMOUTH, Minn. (WCCO) -- Minnesota children and young adults suffering from addiction are getting a huge boost in resources to help with treatment.
Hazelden's Plymouth treatment facility is getting an upgrade and expansion.
By the start of next year, 32 more people will be able get months-worth of treatment.
Young people ages 12 to 25 dealing with addiction will now have a new family wing that is more private.
There's also a new gym and classrooms to continue with education during treatment.
And the upgrade includes new art and music therapy rooms.
The $30 million for the upgrade came from mostly private donations as Hazelden is a non-profit organization.
