30 Firefighters Respond To Eagan House Fire
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- All five Eagan fire stations, including 30 firefighters, responded to a house fire of a home under construction early Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Crews said the home, which is under construction, is located on Lemieux Circle. Fire officials were dispatched around 4:53 a.m. Sunday.
One half of a duplex was fully engulfed in flames when the crews arrived. The heat was so intense that the vinyl siding on at least three neighboring homes started to melt.
Both sides of the duplex were new construction and not occupied. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
The Eagan Fire Marshall will investigate the cause of the fire.
