3 Teens Arrested In Armed Robbery Spree In South Mpls.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Three teenagers are being held for a series of armed robberies in south Minneapolis.
There were 16 robberies in a two-hour period, nearly all of them at gunpoint.
One of the victims was WCCO Radio show host Roshini Rajkumar. She was held up by two boys in the Kenwood neighborhood Sunday night. One of them had a gun.
"He said, 'give him your purse or I'll use the gun,'" said Rajkumar.

She gave them her purse and was not hurt. The purse was later recovered a short distance away.
Soon after that incident, police picked up three boys, ages 14, 15 and 16.
"We did arrest those males in a stolen car. A firearm was recovered," said Sgt. Bill Palmer, a spokesman for the Minneapolis Police Department.
Palmer calls it an unusual case.
"This is pretty unusual to have that many robberies committed by the same group in such a short period of time," added Palmer.
Juvenile authorities are handling the case right now. Charges are pending.
