3-Month-Old Baby Seriously Injured; Police Investigating
BEMIDJI (WCCO) -- Beltrami County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating an incident where a baby girl was seriously injured Monday night.
According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center after learning the 3-month-old baby girl was brought to the Emergency Room with serious injuries. There, the deputies learned the baby was in the process of being flown to the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, N.D. due to the critical nation of the injuries.
An investigation revealed that the baby was injured on the 19000 block of Mission Rd. SE in Ten Lakes Township, about 15 miles east of Bemidji.
Deputies are investigating what occurred at the residence where the family was staying.
