2 Wis. Students Arrested For Bomb Threat At School
RACINE, Wis. (AP) -- Two Racine County high school students have been arrested after authorities said the pair threatened to blow up their school.
Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says officials at Union Grove High School found bomb threats on walls this week in both a boys' and girls' bathroom. The writing said the school would be blown up Friday.
Schmaling says one male and one female student, both juniors, have been taken into custody. He says they could face felony bomb-scare charges and a misdemeanor charge for criminal damage to property.
A Journal Times of Racine report says the students told authorities it was just a practical joke.
District Administrator Al Mollerskov says the students will go before the school board for expulsion hearings.
