2 Stillwater Men Charged In Rash Of Burglaries
STILLWATER, Minn. (WCCO) -- An investigation into a recent rash of burglaries has led to criminal charges for two Stillwater 18-year-olds, according to the Washington County Attorney's Office.
Nicholas John DeRosier faces four felony counts of burglary while James Jonathan Cody Hanson faces one count.
The charges were filed in connection to a string a burglaries in Stillwater starting in July 21.
"We truly appreciate the efforts of the Stillwater Police Department in bringing the early stages of this investigation to fruition," said County Attorney Pete Orput. "The public should be assuaged that the investigation is continuing and that we in law enforcement will do all in our power to stop this violation of our homes."
Hanson had his initial appearance in Washington County District Court Tuesday where his bail was set at $5,000. His next court appearance is set for Aug. 2, 2012.
