2 Severely Injured In St. Louis Co. ATV Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two Twin Cities men suffered severe injuries in an ATV crash Friday morning in Eagles Nest Township.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's office received report of a crash at about 9:30 a.m. on the 1300 block of Walsh Road.
John Torgrimson, 28, and John Traynor, 26, were thrown from an ATV after they took a curve and left the roadway. Both were not wearing a helmet.
They were eventually airlifted to Duluth-area hospitals.
The sheriff's office says speed and alcohol may have been factors in the accident.
