2 Injured In Motel Explosion, Fire Near Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. (WCCO) -- An explosion and fire at a motel near Duluth, Minn. injured two people on Wednesday.
The fire happened just outside of Duluth at the Lake Breeze Motel Resort during the afternoon.
One of the people injured was the motel owner. He reportedly suffered burns. The other person only suffered minor injuries.
The fire destroyed one building.
Officials are still looking for an exact cause, but believe the explosion may have started in a laundry room.
