2 Drivers Die In Head-On Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two drivers died Sunday after their cars collided head-on in Otter Tail County, authorities said.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office said the collision – between a 2005 Dodge Stratus and 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser -- happened at 9:30 a.m. on County Highway 88 about three miles southeast of Rothsay.
Authorities pronounced the drivers, both of which were from Rothsay, dead at the scene. Neither was wearing a seat belt, police said.
The driver of the Stratus was a 48-year-old woman. The PT Cruiser's driver was a 46-year-old man. Their names will not be released until their families have been notified, police said.
The crash is still under investigation.
